There are hearts and fancy boxes of treats involved, just like the human-centric Valentine’s Day, but the main point of this day is that all squirrels have to be nice to one another and not say or do anything mean to anyone for one whole day. And because squirrels are incredibly punitive by nature, the rules of Squirrel Just Stop Being a Fucking Asshole Day are enforced by the law.
